Inga Lineviciute is a lithuanian artist currently living and working in Copenhagen, Denmark. She primarily works with drawing and animation, although enjoys experimenting with variety of mediums, learning and developing new methodologies. In her works Inga portrays absurd narratives that are inspired by effects of consumerism, popular culture, loss of identity, social displacement, ethics and folklore.
Artist Inga Lineviciute was born in Kaunas, Lithuania (1992) and after graduating from Kaunas Art gymnasium, Inga studied BA Fine Art at the University of Central Lancashire. In 2018, Inga received MA in Fine Art Digital at the University of the Arts London, Camberwell College of Arts.
Inga’s works were selected for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2014 and exhibited at the ICA in London, Liverpool Biennial at the World Museum, The Exhange in Cornwall. She also exhibited works at A Small View gallery, Hanover Project in North-West UK, Den Frie Contemporary Art Centre, Eks-rummet in Copenhagen, in Lithuania – the gallery ‘Vartai’, Vytautas Magnus University Art Gallery 101, Kaunas City museums and more.
